Packaging
To advance a packaging framework in which our packaging is no longer seen as waste, but as a valuable resource for future use.
To advance a packaging framework in which our packaging is no longer seen as waste, but as a valuable resource for future use.
Packaging adds value to our products by increasing shelf life, minimizing breakage, reducing transportation and handling costs, safeguarding public health, providing product information and creating consumer convenience. But in an era of rising energy costs and scarce resources, we must work toward packaging that adds value not only to our products, but also to our environment and society.
We continuously strive to design consumer-friendly packages that reduce the use of materials and maintain product quality. In the Philippines, we have reduced the use of packaging materials in our glass and PET bottles.
Our global vision is zero waste. That’s why we design recyclable packaging and develop innovative recycling solutions for our business and communities. We help increase recycling around the world by supporting not only our own collection operations, but also those of national recovery organizations and strategic recovery partners.
Our global goal is to “close the loop” on packaging. This means advancing technology to enable greater use of recycled materials in the production process. Reusing materials requires less energy than using virgin materials and reduces waste and greenhouse gases.
